EeZee HR Consulting has been set up by Liz Zukowski. Liz’s approach as an experienced HR leader is pragmatic and down to earth. She enjoys linking vision and strategy to practical people initiatives and innovative ideas that drive performance, engage employees, and enable businesses to change and grow.
Liz has held positions of HR Director in Network Rail, Oil Spill Response, WYG plc, Aurora Corporate Services (part of Capita Group), AGF Insurance, and at the start of her career she was a Personnel Manager with ASDA Stores Ltd. As an HR interim, she has worked for organisations including Ernst and Young LLP, as well as delivering consultancy projects for several SME’s including Turley, and John Brash Timber Co Ltd.
In her most recent role with Network Rail, Liz worked with a variety of stakeholders including, MDs and their executive teams, Trade Unions and employee representatives, regulatory and Governmental groups to deliver organisational development and change, including cultural change for Route Services within Network Rail, whilst achieving efficiency targets along the way.
As part of her classical HR skill set, she has proven skills in business partnering, employee relations, talent and succession management, resourcing, learning and development and has additional skills in industrial relations, remuneration, health, safety and wellbeing and internal communications.
Liz recently became accredited in workplace mediation adding to her BA, Two -subject degree in Management Studies and Russian from the University of Leeds, and Fellowship of the CIPD.

Liz is a change leader; in our time together at WYG plc, Liz made a major leadership contribution to WYG organisational transformation - from crisis through stabilisation and recovery. The challenge was existential in 2010/11 following the financial crisis and required firm, sympathetic and imaginative solutions to successfully lead, drive and deliver the global and local people challenges. Liz was at the forefront of organisational restructure and rebuild, cultural change, key person retention, making tough choices and investing in the building of a platform for the future. Liz was my HRD for the last four years that I was with Network Rail as MD of Route Services, a division of c 6,000 colleagues delivering over 60+ services across the whole spectrum of rail infrastructure and asset management across the whole of Network Rail, and an operational budget circa £6.5bn under management.As our people professional, Liz consistently delivered solutions that created most value for both our business and our people. Route Services was ever-changing and against this backdrop, Liz and the HR teams she led were stoic in resolving our people-centric issues ranging from: reorganisation of our senior leadership team to play to our strengths, to consolidation of our operational teams (comprising Supply Chain Operations, Business and Engineering/Technical Services, IT, Telecoms, Commercial and Procurement, Finance) under our many efficiency drives to save employment costs. She also dealt effectively with our many and varied IR/ER issues along the way, enabling safety and cultural change to take place through inclusive practices in pursuit of our diversity aims.
